It’s been 15 long years since Ipswich Town graced the Premier League and the Blues will face a 16th successive season in the second-tier of English football come August.

It’s a depressing statistic for any Blues fan but during that time, there have been plenty of highs, although there have been a few lows too.

To pass the time between now and the new season starting, why not try 20 questions to test the most ardent Town fan?

The teasers feature trivia from every season between Town’s first back in the Championship in 2002-03, to the present one just gone.

Good luck!

  • Pundit, I am not sure that ME is an asset stripper as there are no assets to strip. Portman Rd is owned by IBC and leased to the club. The training grounds have potentially very high values in alternative use but any sale would not get anywhere near covering the loses ME has incurred during his ownership. Your continued labouring of this point is becoming tedious.

  • There is a certain arrogance in the way the EADT and Touts fans with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement view this prolonged stay in division two. After all half the league and the rest of the football pyramid aspire to taste the success of playing in the second tier. Or to be more exact, the top tier of the football league. There is plenty of scope to drop down the divisions as other asset-stripped shells have done in the past. These might just be years !ooked on with as much rose-tinted fondness as the Robson years in a few decades time.
