Concerns are growing for a 50-year-old man from Suffolk who has not been seen since the start of the week and who may have suffered a head injury from a previous incident.
Shortly before midnight on Friday night (June 30), Suffolk Constabulary launched a media appeal to help find William Mayhew, 50, of the Leiston area.
Mr Mayhew was last seen at 6pm on Monday, June 26 in the Leiston area by friends but has not been seen since.
Suffolk Constabulary added in a statement: “William is described as white, 1.78m tall (5ft 10ins) with light brown cropped hair and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a white T Shirt, jeans and a black Guinness logo jacket.
“Officers have made a number of enquiries in the Leiston and Thorpeness area and are extending enquiries across Suffolk and into Norfolk. Concern for William is growing due to his absence and lack of contact with family and friends being unusual in character. He may also be suffering from a head injury from a previous incident.
“Any information or sightings of William should be reported to Suffolk police via 101 quoting reference number 343 of June 29 2017.”
