Ipswich Town discovered their opponents in the Carabao Cup earlier today, and were also close to signing Manchester City winger Bersant Celina and Rangers striker, Joe Garner.

The Blues and the Hatters have met three times previously in the League (Carabao) Cup, Luton prevailing over two legs in the 1998-99 season and winning 1-0 at Portman Road on their way to winning the competition in the 1987-88 campaign.

As for Celina and Garner, the former is expected to sign a season-long loan deal, while Garner just needs to tie up a few loose ends in Scotland, before making a permanent switch to Suffolk.
