Students at the school in Woodbridge have been raising money for charity by taking part in their annual Readathon.
Students at Farlingaye High School had to wait for a few weeks longer than usual to take part in the event after it was postponed because of the snow at the beginning of March.
170 students spent the day snuggled up in sleeping bags in the school’s library reading from a wide range of books.
To complete the challenge the pupils had to read from 8am until 6pm with a few rest breaks in between.
A well as reading to themselves staff from the school also read out excerpts to the students from their favourites books for youngsters to enjoy.
Students were asked to collect sponsorship for the event with all the funds raised being split between three different groups: Farlingaye High School’s library, the school’s reading club and local youth charity Just 42.
