New panels to honour Cheshunt’s war dead

CHESHUNT’S ‘Glorious Dead’ from conflicts since World War One will be honoured on the town’s war memorial, as new panels have been added to mark the sacrifices of the fallen.
A commemorative service, lasting around 30 minutes, will be held on Sunday at 12pm at the Cheshunt War Memorial, in Turners Hill, for family and friends of war heroes.
The Reverend Jane Dicker will hold the service and the British Legion and Army Cadets will also be in attendance.
