HARLOW MP Robert Halfon visited the Science Alive centre on Friday to see the impressive work they are doing.
The facility, situated in Leisurezone, offers exhibitions with themes relating to science, technology, engineering and maths, along with hands on workshops, master classes and special interest multimedia events, as well as roadshows for schools and other learning organisations.
Mr Halfon said he was impressed with what Science Alive is offering. “Science Alive is the only science centre of this kind in Essex and it is great that its activities reach out to such a wide age range,” he said.
Science Alive chief executive, Jon O’Connor, said: “Robert was really positive about the project and applauded our success in developing a local hands on gallery, with the potential to boost the future economy by growing interest in science-related careers.”
