A Suffolk Day ‘sip and give’ initiative will be serving up hot drinks for donations to Ipswich-based Talitha Koum (TK) at Jonathan Nicholson’s two restaurants-with-rooms in north Suffolk

With the addiction charity having a fundraising drive on Wednesday, to help fundraise for its purpose-built residential, rehabilitation centre for women in recovery, near Ipswich, Mr Nicholson’s The Bell at Sax’, in Saxmundham, and The Sail Loft, Southwold, will serve hot drinks from 10am-5pm in return for a donation.

Mr Nicholson said: “What the hard-working team at TK are doing in creating a sense of belonging and a home for women coping with addiction is so admirable, and their efforts to rehabilitate them into everyday life, giving them hope, is very inspiring. Our little effort will hopefully really help the new rehabilitation centre and get it open quicker.”
