A small crowd of people are expected to join a Woodbridge family’s search for a missing chihuahua this weekend.
Stanley the teacup chihuahua was taken from a park off Beresford Drive on April 12, after escaping from a garden.
The beige puppy, with black muzzle marking, was being looked after for Romany Woolnough’s sister by their mother.
At 1pm on Saturday, May 20, a search party will gather at Houchells Meadow, off Haugh Lane, where people will be given posters to put up and distribute along the route.
Romany said: “It’s unlikely we’ll find him on the day but we want to try and spread the message that we haven’t given up.
“We’ve heard some accounts of him being spotted, but no sightings have been confirmed.
“We’re just hoping, for my mum’s sake, that he eventually turns up. She can’t bear to even talk about him.”
Police want to speak to a teenage boy seen riding a BMX bike in the park area.
He had medium brown hair, a gap between his front teeth, and was wearing a blue jumper and jeans.
